Senior Pastor

Pastor Doug founded Church on Fire Ministries in October of 1996 and is the senior pastor. He delivers strong biblical messages that encourage righteous living. Seeing people born again and moving to Christian maturity are his passion. Pastor Doug was a youth pastor for 18 years before he felt the call to start CFM. His grandchildren, Carter, Masyn, Ella, Kelyn, and Grant are his joy. He loves the outdoors and enjoys hunting and fishing.

Karen Combs
Office Administrator

Karen is the wife of Senior Pastor, Doug Combs. Married in their home church, West Flint Church of God in Flint, Michigan, together they have served in full time ministry for over 30 years. They have two beautiful married daughters and 5 wonderful grandchildren. Karen is the office administrator as well as being over various ministries within the church. Karen is driven by a passion to help people see their potential in the Lord and remove the scale the enemy has placed over their eyes and to see God for who He is and for others to see themselves as God sees them. When alone, along with the presence of her heavenly Father, Karen enjoys flowers, Classical music (and most music with out lyrics), beautiful stationary and the great outdoors. Her favorite scripture is: …”for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.” Phil. 4:11
Pete Witt
Associate Pastor / Director of CFM Bible College

Having worked in various ministry outlets since he began his pastoral ministry in 1986, Pete Witt serves CFM in a behind the scenes role. After graduating from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1993 Pete served several area churches in various capacities .Pete longs to fulfill the “disciple believers” of CFM’s vision & mission statements. He also has a Bachelor of Ministry from Faith Theological Seminary & Christian College. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Gary Satterly
First Connection Pastor/I.T. Director

Gary Satterly is the First Connection Pastor and I.T. Director. He’s a graduate of ITT School of Business & Technology with a degree in Management Information Technologies. He has served in full-time Youth Ministry for over 15 years and also served 5 years as the Media & I.T. Director for the Indiana Church of God State Offices. He travels and speaks from time to time at youth conferences, youth groups and churches. He loves to help churches with technologies and has a passion to minister to young adults. On Sunday mornings when he’s not hanging out and talking with the College & Career students you can usually find him behind a computer in the sound booth or helping a parent at one of the security check-in stations. Gary likes fishing, skiing, tennis, shopping at Bass Pro Shop, Micro Center & Best Buy. He dislikes onions, coffee, tea, and the mall. Gary and his wife, Wilma, a licensed Health Care Administer who plays the keyboard for the adult worship team, and their son Caleb, together loves to cuddle up on the couch to watch movies and eat popcorn.
Mark Atwell
Associate Pastor

Pastor Mark and his wife Martha joined the leadership team at Church On Fire in January of 2007. Pastor Mark graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 1990 with a B.A. in Christian Education and a minor in Business Administration. He also holds a diploma in accounting from Platt Business College as well as a B.C.M. from Children’s Ministries University in Lake Winona, Indiana. His interests include; being outdoors (doing just about anything), hassling cats, cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks, boating and camping (ah-la Atwell style). Pastor Mark and his wonderful wife Martha currently reside in Harrison with their 3 children; Cody, Taylor and Travis.
Lisa Daniel
Director of Marked Masters Commission and college ministry 
In 1998 Lisa attended Masters Commission in Atlanta, GA. God used MC to put a passion in Lisa to see the youth of this nation make a difference for Christ in this world. Lisa is the Director of Marked Masters Commission and also over the college ministry, “The Annex”. Her desire is to see the youth of this nation rise up and take their place in the Kingdom of God. The verse that is core to her ministries is Ephesians 1:13 Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal. The promised Holy Spirit. Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband Steve and their two children Carter and Ella.
Nathan Derenski
student Pastor 
Nathan began attending Church on Fire Ministries in 1999 and serves as the Senior High Student Pastor. He began volunteering in the student ministry in 2002, while he attended the University of Cincinnati. In 2006 he obtained a Bachelors of Business Administration in Operations Management. Nathan’s passion for students is driven by his own experiences. Nathan and his beautiful wife Rachel’s vision for Fluid Student Ministries is; To see teenagers come to Christ, For them to become disciples of Jesus, and for them to live a lifetime of passionate worship. They long to see this generation rise up and take their place in the body of Christ, and say, “Jesus Christ is our God, and we will serve Him with all of our hearts”.
Aaron Scudder
jr high Pastor 
Aaron felt God’s call on his life to be a pastor at the age of 15 and followed the path that God had set before him. This path took him to 14 different countries spread out on every continent sharing about Salvation through Jesus Christ. This same path has now taken Aaron and his wife Jessica to Harrison, OH where he joined the CFM staff in April 2008 as the Jr. High Pastor. Aaron has been married to Jessica for 3 years and in his free time he likes to work on cars and mess around with remote controlled planes and helicopters in his spare time.
Eric Rodgers
worship Pastor

Eric has been singing and leading worship almost his entire life through various bands and churches. Before coming on staff at CFM he led worship at the Bridge Church in Pennsylvania for seven years. Eric’s passion is HIS presence. And it is his desire to help lead people into the presence of God and awaken a greater hunger for more of God. The verse that drives Eric’s ministry is Romans 12:1 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him. His prayer is that through worship many will see and hear and put their trust in the Lord.
Rosanne Moore
Assistant to Senior Pastors

Rosanne has attended CFM since April 2006 and began working in the office in August of 2007. Rosanne serves as the assistant to Pastor Doug Combs and as a liaison for CFM pastoral event coordination. Rosanne also develops the weekly bulletins and assists with the communication needs of the church. Rosanne is presently working on a bachelors degree in Women’s Ministry and serves with her husband, Randy, on the Outreach Ministry Team.
Kristi Salatin
receptionist 
Kristi has attended Church on Fire Ministries since March of 2007 and joined the staff of CFM in May of 2008 where she serves as the Receptionist. In addition, she is a junior high youth leader, a member of the Outreach Ministry and oversees the Condolence Ministry. Kristi and her husband Rich live in Batesville, Indiana and have been married for 17 wonderful years. She has been blessed with three beautiful children, Amanda, Alle and Ben. In her spare time, she loves family time, gardening and watching NASCAR.
Christa Weiskittel
Finance Clerk

Christa oversees the church finances and record keeping. She has been on staff since 1999.
She and her husband, Ron are part of the altar workers ministry.
She loves praying and ministering to people and especially mentoring women new in the Lord.
Christa and Ron have 8 children between them and 3 precious granddaughters with another one on the way.
She loves being with her family, cooking and flower gardening.
